Seth B.C. Shonkoff

Seth B.C. Shonkoff, PhD, MPH, serves as the Executive Director of PSE Healthy Energy, a non-profit dedicated to providing scientific and technical information on the health and environmental impacts of energy production. In addition, Seth holds the position of Associate Researcher at UC Berkeley School of Public Health and is an Affiliate at Berkeley Lab, conducting research on the intersection of energy, health, and the environment. Prior roles at UC Berkeley included Visiting Scholar in environmental research and Graduate Student Instructor for various environmental science courses. Earlier career experiences encompassed roles at organizations such as the Berkeley Air Monitoring Group and the San Francisco Department of Public Health, focusing on environmental health and policy analysis. Seth earned a PhD in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management, as well as an MPH in Epidemiology, from the University of California, Berkeley, following a BA in Environmental Science from Skidmore College.
