Jim Franke is a board member at PSG Global Solutions and was previously the Chief Financial Officer for Cision. Jim has over 20 years of experience in accounting and finance.

Franke was brought on to Cision in 2012 as the Chief Financial Officer. Jim was tasked with bringing financial leadership and business insights to the global provider of PR software and media services. One of their first accomplishments was uncovering accounting irregularities and initiating a full investigation. This led to the company re-stating their revenue and income for prior years.

Franke rebuilt the Accounting-Finance organization over 9 months, including hiring new auditors and driving significant improvement in accounting processes. Jim also delivered actionable Management Information Reporting to the organization. These accomplishments were recognized in press releases and by investment analysts.

Under Franke's leadership, EBITDA margins improved to 23% from 20%. Additionally, GTCR (Chicago Private Equity) identified Cision as an undervalued asset and took the company private in August 2014.

Jim Franke has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, with a focus in finance and quantitative methods. Jim also has a B.S. in economics from Bradley University.
