Dr. Tobias Pletzer

Dr. Tobias Pletzer is an experienced professional in the field of engineering and research, currently serving as the Head of Research and Development at PSI Software SE since January 2023. Prior roles include leading the Exerpt Team RD&I Strategy and Portfolio Management at E.ON from March 2020 to December 2022, as well as managing innovation at HanseWerk-Gruppe and heading research teams focusing on future energy grids at Schleswig-Holstein Netz AG and HanseWerk-Gruppe from 2016 to 2022. Dr. Pletzer has also held various managerial and research positions at devolo AG and AMO GmbH, and contributed significantly to academic research as Head of the Research Group "Photovoltaic" at RWTH Aachen University. Dr. Pletzer earned a Doctorate in Engineering Science in Electrical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Technical Computer Science from Universität Siegen.
