Marco Amorim

Marco Amorim has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the financial sector. Marco started their career as a Customer Service Representative at National Bank of Canada in 2001 and then worked as a Fixed Income Settlements professional at the same company. In 2005, they joined AGF - MAGNA VISTA INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT as a Senior Portfolio Administrator.

In 2008, Amorim worked as an Audit Staff Accountant at Collins Barrow before transitioning to roles at FIERA CAPITAL. Marco began as a Senior Portfolio Administrator and then became a Senior Business Analyst.

Amorim later joined Fiera Sceptre Inc. as a Senior Analyst, focusing on Performance & Risk analysis. Marco played a crucial role in subscribing the firm to the GIPS performance standard.

In 2011, Amorim joined Northern Trust as a Senior Analyst, specializing in Performance and Attribution for a range of asset classes.

From 2014 to 2016, they were a Data Analyst at Fiera Capital Corporation, where their responsibilities included evaluating and reporting on firm growth, pricing asset classes, and performing investment analytics.

Amorim also has experience as a freelance football (soccer) writer from 1999 to 2008 and as the owner of Conseil Marco Alexandre/Marco Alexandre Consulting from 2014 onwards.

Currently, Amorim is employed by PSP Investments, where they have held roles as a Senior Data Analyst, Data Advisor, and currently serves as a Data Quality Manager.

Marco Amorim completed their education with the following milestones:

- From 2014 to 2020, Marco attended McGill University, where they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance.

- In 2014, they completed a Certificate in Financial & Valuation Modeling from Wall Street Prep.

- In 2013, Marco earned an IMC Certificate from CFAUK.

- In 2009, they completed the Canadian Securities Course from the Canadian Securities Institute.

- Marco's undergraduate education took place from 2000 to 2004 at Concordia University, where they earned a BComm degree in Finance.

In addition to their formal education, Marco also acquired several certifications:

- In July 2017, they obtained the Markit EDM (Cadis) User Interface Workflow certification from Markit.

- In February 2017, they completed the Markit EDM (Cadis) Core Training Introduction course, also from Markit.

- In 2014, Marco obtained the Financial Valuation & Modeling certification from Wall Street Prep.
