Serge Pard

Serge Pard has a strong and extensive work experience in taxation and finance. Serge began their career at KPMG as a Tax Director, where they worked for eight years. Serge then joined Celanese Canada Inc. as a Director of Taxation and later took on the role of Treasurer, managing various financial aspects of the company.

Serge then worked at Cadim, a subsidiary of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ), where they served as the Vice President of Taxation. In this role, they were responsible for managing the taxation and consumption taxes of over 150 legal entities within the group, both in Canada and internationally. Serge also played a key role in developing and managing tax structures, executing due diligence, and producing domestic and international tax returns.

Following their time at Cadim, Serge moved on to SITQ, another CDPQ subsidiary, where they continued their role as Vice President of Taxation. Serge was responsible for all tax-related activities in the subsidiaries of the Hotel Group, residential and RPA, both in Canada and abroad.

After SITQ, Serge joined Ivanhoé Cambridge, the real estate subsidiary of CDPQ, as the Vice President of Taxation. Serge was in charge of the Hotel Group's taxation and investment funds, both in Canada and internationally. Serge also managed investment projects in emerging countries such as Brazil, China, and Russia.

Most recently, Serge has been working as the Senior Director of Taxation at PSP Investments, where they started in 2013. Serge brings their extensive experience and expertise in taxation to this role.

Overall, Serge Pard has a diverse and accomplished career in taxation, finance, and management, working in both domestic and international contexts.

Serge Pard completed their Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières in 1980. Serge then pursued an In-Depth Taxation Course from ICCA (In-Depth Taxation Course CICA) until 1989. In addition, they obtained their membership in the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1982.
