Lorenz Schmidt

Lorenz Schmidt has a rich work experience in the automotive engineering industry. Lorenz started their career in 2008 as a Bordnetzentwickler at DRÄXLMAIER Group and worked there until 2012. Lorenz then joined Semcon Ingolstadt GmbH as an Abteilungsleiter Elektrik/Elektronik from 2013 to 2014. Following that, they worked at ASAP Engineering GmbH as the Leiter Entwicklung Bordnetz from 2014 to 2018. Lastly, they are currently employed at PSW automotive engineering GmbH, starting in 2018 as the Leiter Bordnetz Leitungssatz- & Steuergeräte-/Antennenpackage and eventually becoming the Head of Development Components and Systems in 2021.

Lorenz Schmidt completed their Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Elektrotechnik und Elektronik at Wilhelm Büchner Hochschule from 2008 to 2014. Currently, they are a Doktorand at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg | FAPS, specializing in Virtuelle Absicherung im Bordnetzdesign (Digital Twin).
