Darren Stops

Darren Stops is a highly experienced psychologist with over 20 years in practice, currently operating in private practice since September 2013 and serving as a Senior School Psychologist with the Department of Education Tasmania since 2005. The scope of expertise includes child and adolescent psychology, stress management, and coping with trauma, among other mental health issues. Previous roles include involvement in various organizations such as St Helen's Private Hospital, the University of Tasmania as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer, and multiple advisory and executive positions with the Australian Psychological Society and the Australian Education Union. Darren holds a Master of Psychology and a Bachelor of Science with honors in Psychology, and has contributed to the field through research, resource development, and policy evaluation over two decades.
