Lauren Dockett

Lauren Dockett is an accomplished freelance journalist, author, and editor, with extensive experience in writing for prominent media outlets such as the Washington Post, Salon, and NPR. Since 2000, Lauren has provided award-winning coverage in mental health, environmental science, social justice, gender and sexuality, and celebrity. As a Senior Writer for Psychotherapy Networker since 2017, Lauren focuses on in-depth articles addressing contemporary issues in mental health. Previous roles include Managing Editor at the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Honorary Lecturer at the Journalism and Media Studies Centre in Hong Kong, Executive Editor at Columbia University Press, Senior Editor at Springer Publishing Company, and Marketing and Publicity Manager at New Harbinger Publications.
