Joakim Andersson

Joakim Andersson is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and education sectors, currently serving as the Regional Head of Nordics, Baltics & BeNeLux at PTC Therapeutics, Inc. since October 2015, where roles have also included Commercial Lead and Country Manager. Prior to this, Joakim held the position of Key Account Manager for NPS Pharmaceuticals, specializing in the launch of a gastroenterology drug across three Nordic countries. Additional experience includes being a Key Account Manager at ViroPharma and a Product Specialist at Eli Lilly and Company, focusing on psychiatric medications. Joakim's career began in education as a Senior High School Teacher and includes technical training in telecommunications engineering with the Swedish Army. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Education and further studies in Human Resources and basic medical education.
