Chris A. has over 30 years of work experience in the quality assurance field. Chris began their career in 1987 as a Technician at Apple, where they operated machines for SMT, Wave Solder, Pick & Place, PCB testing and Systems Burn-In. Chris also managed production schedules and deadlines, organized MRB inventory, and audited procedures, production lines, and equipment. In 1994, Chris A. began working as a Sr Process Technician at LifeScan, where they operated bottling, test strips, foil machines, and monitored product yield. Chris was also responsible for training new hires on procedures, packaging, and machine operation. In 2000, Chris A. became a Sr. Reliability Technician at Intel Corporation, where they installed EM5X equipment, performed repairs, and calibrated oven temperatures. Chris also ran NPI wafers stress testing of integrated prototypes and executed EM Burn-In. In 2006, Chris A. became a Quality Control Specialist at Lockheed Martin, where they reviewed batch records, NPI documentation, engineer drawings, and latest protocols. Chris also performed first article inspections using microscopes, calipers, high and low pin gauges, and inspected solder joints, servers, chassis, IT racks cables and IPC workmanship for defects. In 2009, Chris A. became a QA Manager at G2 Tech, where they composed SOP procedures for ISO 9001 and 14001 certification compliances. Chris also oversaw and audited maintenance calibration reports and calibration tagging, and reviewed order requests, inspections of raw materials in the process for final approval. In 2014, Chris A. began working as a Quality Control Supervisor at Amphenol DC Electronics, where they certified CIT and trained other manufacturing personnel on IPC 620B WHAM. Chris also maintained the administrative supervisor duties for the quality control team, and focused on the velocity of work through continuous improvement and lean initiatives. Finally, in 2016, Chris A. became a Quality Manager at PTEC Solutions Inc., where they managed Quality Teams for inspection, testing, UL, and monitoring NPI products. Chris was also ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, 45001 Transition Course Certified by PJR, and developed a QMS road map. Chris also created Pareto charts to monitor KPI throughout production and quality teams.
Chris A. attended Overfelt High School from 1983 to 1986. Chris has since obtained several certifications, including ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System Transition Certified Auditor from Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. in August 2021, ISO 45001 - Occupational Health & Safety Transition Certified Auditor from Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. in September 2019, ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems Transition Certified Auditor from Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. in May 2017, UL 508A Trained from UL in August 2020, IPC 620B WHMA CIT from WHMA - Wiring Harness Manufacturer's Association in January 2019, and IPC 620B WHMA CIT from WHMA - Wiring Harness Manufacturer's Association in May 2015.
