Abolfazl Babaei Eit (AB)

Abolfazl (AB) Babaei, Ph.D., EIT, is a Power System Engineer at TransGrid Solutions since October 2022 and has served as a Power Electronics Designer at PTI Transformers since September 2019. Additionally, Abolfazl is a Lab Instructor at the International College of Manitoba, teaching multiple courses in electrical and computer engineering and mathematics. As a Sessional Instructor at the University of Manitoba, Abolfazl teaches courses related to electric machines and power systems. Previous roles include Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Manitoba, covering a range of subjects in electrical engineering. Abolfazl earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Power Electronics from the University of Manitoba in 2022 and a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology from 2012 to 2014.
