Anand Nair

Anand Nair has a diverse range of work experience in the maritime and logistics industry. Anand started their career as a Mariner Seagoing with NOL / AET Singapore, where they worked their way up from the position of Deck Cadet to Master onboard multiple ocean-going tankers and offshore vessels. In this role, they gained experience in ship operations, navigation, cargo management, cleanliness and seaworthiness, as well as documentation and certification.

After their time with NOL / AET Singapore, Anand Nair joined KL Maritime Sdn Bhd as an Operations Manager. Here, they oversaw end-to-end operations management, vessel monitoring, and cargo loading and discharging for various ship owners, agents, and charterers. Anand also negotiated charter party contracts and communicated operational instructions to stakeholders.

Following that, Anand Nair joined TLO Offshore (Sapura Energy Company), first as a Project Controller responsible for managing and monitoring the dry docking of barges and offshore vessels in shipyards across Singapore and Batam, Indonesia. Anand then took on the role of Deputy Senior Manager for the ONGC Project Mumbai, where they managed and coordinated vessel movements in line with the construction program and milestones.

Most recently, Anand Nair worked as the Head of Logistics Operations at PTTEP. In this role, they oversaw the delivery of logistics support services for offshore production and drilling activities across the Labuan and Bintulu bases. Anand managed end-to-end logistics operations for marine shipments, including coordinating vessel schedules, cargo loading, and offloading processes. Anand also defined departmental KPIs and monitored performance.

Throughout their career, Anand Nair has demonstrated strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of the logistics and maritime industry.

Anand Nair has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from HELP University / Charles Sturt University in Australia. Anand also holds a diploma in Maritime Studies from Singapore Polytechnic. Additionally, Anand Nair has obtained an MBA certification from Charles Sturt University.
