Norapat Tharangkool

Norapat Tharangkool is a seasoned professional in the field of chemical engineering, currently serving as a Senior Economics Planner at GC since December 2017. Responsibilities include operation planning for multiple Olefins plants, optimization of processes from upstream to downstream, and the integration of refining, aromatics, and olefins units to maximize netback value. Prior experience as a Process Engineer involved overseeing the Olefins plant's hot and cold sections, leading significant projects including the installation of a new WWRO system, and facilitating the Plant Turnaround process. Intern experience at UBE Chemicals Asia included designing systems that enhanced efficiency and reduced costs. Norapat holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University.
