Shane E. has over 10 years of work experience, primarily in the gaming industry. Shane is currently working as a Senior Gameplay Programmer at PUBG Corporation since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked for Roundhouse Studios as a Game Programmer from November 2019 to September 2021.

Before joining Roundhouse Studios, Shane held the position of a Senior Programmer at Human Head Studios from June 2018 to November 2019. During their time there, they worked on an unannounced online, team-based PvPvE third-person shooter game based on a major comic license. Shane assumed the lead programmer role, overseeing the project through alpha, and contributed to various aspects of the game, including player movement, weapons, status effects, game modes, networking, optimization, and AI development.

Shane has also gained entrepreneurial experience as the Founder of Punch Up Games, where they worked from July 2015 to June 2018. Additionally, they worked as an Independent Contractor for Reloaded Games, Inc. from January 2016 to May 2016.

Earlier in their career, Shane served as the Lead Gameplay Programmer at Nacho Games from July 2014 to July 2015. Shane was responsible for all gameplay and server code, integrating engine features, and maintaining builds and servers.

Before joining Nacho Games, Shane worked as a Programmer at Adhesive Games from March 2012 to April 2014. In this role, they contributed to various gameplay systems, including skill trees, upgrades, achievements, movement improvements, weapon creation, ability systems, and game modes. Shane also worked on integrating backend services and UI for player inventory, store functionality, and stats tracking.

Shane started their career as a Programmer at LEGO Play Well Studios from April 2011 to January 2012. Prior to that, they worked at NetDevil as a Programmer from December 2007 to April 2011. At NetDevil, they played a role in developing core technology and gameplay systems for LEGO Universe, including client/server architecture, network stress testing, asset streaming, physics collision, vehicle physics, and minigame development.

Before transitioning to the gaming industry, Shane worked as a CCNT Administrator at DHL Express from April 2007 to November 2007.

Shane E. attended DigiPen Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Real-Time Interactive Simulations.
