Sungwook Su

Sungwook Su has over 10 years of experience as an Effects TD, with expertise in software such as Maya, Max, Naiad, RealFlow, FumeFX, and particle systems. Sungwook has worked on feature films and major TV commercial projects, including "After Earth," "Oblivion," "Snow White and the Huntsman," "Hugo" (2012 Best VFX Oscars Winner), and "The Amazing Spider-Man." Sungwook has held positions at companies such as Pocket Gems, where they served as Lead VFX Artist from 2015 to 2021, and Kojima Konami Productions, where they were a Lead VFX Artist from 2013 to 2015. Sungwook also co-founded uGo3D, where they worked as a Co-Founder from 2015 to 2019. Currently, Sungwook is the Technical Director at PUBG Corporation since 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at KRAFTON Inc., starting in 2021. Sungwook's earlier experience includes roles as a VFX Artist at Prime Focus in 2010, an Effects Technical Director at Sony Pictures Animation from 2005 to 2010, a CG Supervisor at Nylon from 2007 to 2009, and a CG Supervisor at Brand New School from 2004 to 2006.

Sungwook Su holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in 3D animation from the Academy of Art University.
