Melanie Kress

Senior Curator at Public Art Fund

Melanie Kress is currently working as a Senior Curator at Public Art Fund and as a Critic at Yale University. Prior to their current roles, Melanie held positions at Friends of the High Line as the Curator of High Line Art, Associate Curator, and Curatorial Assistant. Melanie also served as Managing Editor at Aïshti Foundation and as Project Manager at Future Generation Art Prize. Melanie co-founded Concrete Utopia, a project space focused on fostering creative practice and discourse. Melanie's past experiences include roles at American Federation of Arts, Slought Foundation, and Art in General. Melanie holds a Master of Arts from Goldsmiths, University of London, and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Columbia University and Barnard College.
