D'Wauna Young

D'Wauna Young currently serves as the College & Career Success Student Coordinator and Program Associate at the Public Education Foundation, where responsibilities include planning and executing logistics for various initiatives, delivering professional development workshops, and managing associated websites and social media. D'Wauna boasts experience as the owner and writer at D Y Media, a contributing writer for the Chattanooga News Chronicle, and held multiple communications-related roles at the Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy, including Director of Communications and Empowerment Coordinator. Previous experience includes adjunct professorship at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, instructor roles at the YMCA, and various media positions across radio and television. D'Wauna holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and has received accolades such as the Dynamic Program Associate Award in 2018.
