Gerrit Bakker

Gerrit Bakker is currently serving as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Denver and as a Site Visitor at the Public Health Accreditation Board. Previously, Gerrit worked at Tetra Tech as a Senior Executive for Health Emergency Management, and at the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials as the Senior Director for Public Health Preparedness. With a background in political science and extensive experience in public health preparedness, Gerrit has held various roles in emergency response, program management, and education throughout their career. Gerrit's impressive educational background includes degrees from the University of Iowa, Naval Postgraduate School, Harvard University, and the Regional Institute for Health and Environmental Leadership.
