André la Prairie

André La Prairie has a background in kinesiology with a BSc degree from Simon Fraser University. They have extensive experience in various managerial roles within the Public Health Agency of Canada, including responsibilities related to emergency preparedness, stakeholder engagement, capability requirements, situational awareness, and operations. Additionally, André has served as a board member for the Bertram Loeb Organ and Tissue Donation Foundation, contributing to initiatives supporting organ and tissue donation in Canada. They have also held positions at the Canadian Embassy in Washington DC and the HHS Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response as a Health Emergency Liaison Officer.
