Julia Mazza is a Senior Epidemiologist at the Public Health Agency of Canada since December 2019, where Julia also serves as a Health Security Senior Advisor. Prior to this role, Julia worked as an Epidemiologist, Biostatistician, and Researcher at Indigenous Services Canada from April to November 2019, and as an Analyst and Researcher at the Public Health Agency of Canada from June 2018 to March 2019. Earlier experience includes serving as the Scientific Affairs Coordinator at the Canadian Primary Care Sentinel Surveillance Network from September 2017 to May 2018. Julia holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Epidemiology from Université de Montréal, a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Clinical Psychology from Université Grenoble Alpes, and a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology from Universidade Católica de Pernambuco.
