Kelly Saunders has a diverse work experience in the public health and government sectors. Kelly is currently working as the Acting Executive Director of Strategic Surveillance Planning and Governance at the Public Health Agency of Canada. Previously, they served as the Chief of Staff to the Vice-President of the Corporate Data and Surveillance Branch at the same organization. Before that, Kelly worked as an Assistant Director at the Centre for Population Health Development at Statistics Canada. Kelly also held positions at Health Canada, including Acting Senior Manager at the Marketed Health Products Directorate and Senior Advisor to the Director General of the same directorate. In addition, they worked at the Public Health Agency of Canada as the Manager of the Immunization Partnership Fund and as an Evaluation Manager. Kelly's career in the federal government began in 2002, where they held various positions focusing on performance measurement and program evaluation.
Kelly Saunders has a Bachelor's Degree in Science from Memorial University of Newfoundland, with a major in Psychology. Kelly also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Ottawa, with a focus on Business Administration and Management.
