Kaela Villegas

Kaela Villegas is a skilled Laboratory Outreach Analyst with experience in various laboratory roles, currently contributing to the CalREDIE team at Heluna Health since June 2023. Prior to this position, Kaela served as a Molecular Lab Scientist, Clinical Laboratory Technologist, and Laboratory Assistant I at TriCore Reference Laboratories from September 2020 to June 2023. Kaela began the professional journey as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the Biology Education Research Lab from November 2019 to June 2021. Additional experience includes a role as a Pharmacy Office Temp Assistant at Albuquerque Pharmacy in 2016 and an internship with the University of New Mexico Department of Internal Medicine in summer 2015. Kaela holds a degree in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science from Arizona State University, completed in 2021.
