Lipika Nanda is the current VP of Multi, Sectoral Planning in Public Health at the PUBLIC HEALTH FOUNDATION OF INDIA.
Lipika has an extensive background in health policy and administration. Lipika served as the Task Team Leader for desiging the Health Sector Reform Program for 2 states of India - Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. Lipika also worked closely with senior level government officials while designing these sector reform programs.
In their previous positions, Lipika served as the Program Director & HSS Adviser at FHI 360, where they managed the organization's portfolio in Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Education and Development. Lipika also served as the State Program Manager, Health and Nutrition at SERP, Department of Rural Development, Government of AP, India. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the health and nutrition program for the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Lipika has also held positions as Senior Faculty at the Institute of Health Systems and Faculty, Health Administration at Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences. In these roles, they were responsible for teaching and research in the field of health administration.
Lipika's experience and expertise in health policy and administration make their an asset to the PUBLIC HEALTH FOUNDATION OF INDIA. Her work has helped to improve service delivery of public health services in India.
Lipika Nanda has a Phd in Health Management from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, a SM in Population and International health from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and a CAS in HUman Development from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
