Shomik Ray

Shomik Ray is a Professor of Public Health Practice at the Indian Institute of Public Health Delhi, Public Health Foundation of India, starting in April 2024, where responsibilities include leading grant writing initiatives and managing the HTA Resource Centre to align project development with institutional goals. Ray has been an Associate Professor at the Public Health Foundation of India since September 2008, contributing significantly to public health. Previously, experience includes serving as Divisional Manager for knowledge management at the Resource Centre for Sexual Health and HIV/AIDS from April 2004 to March 2007. Shomik Ray holds a Master of Public Health in Health Economics from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Master of Philosophy in Economic Evaluation from Newcastle University, in addition to a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management with a focus on Human Resources Management from the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management.
