Kate Austin Stanford

Director Of Operations at Public Health Madison and Dane County

Kate Austin Stanford started their work experience in 2008 as a Development Assistant/Assistant to the President at Trout Unlimited. Kate then joined the Peace Corps in 2009, where they served as a Reproductive and Preventive Health Technician and later as a Regional Program Lead. In 2013, they worked as an Evidence Analyst at the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Grant Thornton LLP as a Consultant and Senior Consultant. Finally, since 2017, they have been working at Public Health Madison and Dane County, first as the Director of Operations and later as the Incident Commander for the COVID-19 Emergency Response.

Kate Austin Stanford completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Public Health at The George Washington University from 2003 to 2007. Later, from 2013 to 2015, they pursued two master's degrees at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Kate completed a Master of Public Affairs (MPA) and a Master of Public Health (MPH) during this time.
