Natalie Schmitz

Natalie Schmitz is a Graphic Design & Communication Specialist at Public Health Madison and Dane County, where responsibilities include designing web and print materials that adhere to clear communication best practices. Previously, Natalie served as an Outreach Specialist for the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, coordinating outreach efforts with the Burmese community in Milwaukee and leading the Great Lakes Consortium’s Outreach and Education Committee. As a Public Health Educator, Natalie developed communication plans and materials for several public health initiatives. Additionally, a Global Health Intern at UW-Madison, responsibilities included writing a weekly newsletter for over 5,000 students and supporting program administration and marketing. Natalie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Community and Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is currently pursuing further education at Shillington Education.
