Mary Jo Flem

Mary Jo Flem has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to project management and IT. Mary Jo is currently the Director of the IT Project Office at Public Health Management Corporation, a position they have held since January 2024. Prior to that, they were the IT PMO Manager at the same company starting from September 2020.

From 2011 to 2020, Mary Jo worked at BDP International, where they held multiple roles within the Project Management Office (PMO) department. Mary Jo started as the Manager of the PMO team in April 2010 and then became the Senior Director of the PMO in October 2011. In these roles, they focused on creating and developing the PMO, delivering technical and business projects within budget and on time, and managing cross-functional teams.

Before joining the PMO, Mary Jo worked as a Project Manager and Business Analyst, blending their business experience with technical knowledge. Mary Jo also served as the Director of Ocean Export at BDP International from November 1992 to May 2003. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strengths in leadership, motivation, organization, process improvement, risk management, and building strong relationships.

Mary Jo Flem attended Hunter College, where they studied Liberal Arts and Sciences and graduated with a degree in Liberal Studies. In 2014, they obtained SMC Certification from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile. In 2010, they also received ITIL Service Operation certification.
