Anne Halstater has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Anne began their career in 1990 as a Safety and Environmental Coordinator at Ethicon, Inc., before transitioning to the role of Environmental Engineer. In 1992, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at AT&T - Corporate Human Resources. The following year, they served as a Summer Intern at AT&T - Network Wireless System Business Unit. From 1995 to 1998, Anne was an Associate RF Engineer at Los Angeles Cellular Telephone Company. Anne then briefly worked as a Teacher at Los Angeles Unified School District in 1998. In 2008, they were employed as a Personal Assistant at Commemorative Brands. Since 2013, Anne has been working with Public Impact, Education Consultants, where they have held various positions, including Systems Support Associate, Senior Systems Support Associate, Manager of Human Resource Systems and Executive Support, Sr. Manager of Human Resources and Office Systems, Assistant Vice President of Human Resources and Office Systems, and currently serves as the Vice President of Human Resources and Office Systems.
Anne Halstater graduated from Rutgers School of Engineering, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Ceramic Engineering in the years 1986 to 1990. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution, which they completed from 1993 to 1995.

Public Impact’s mission is to improve education dramatically for all students, especially low-income students, students of color, and other students whose needs historically have not been well met. Public Impact’s work is designed to contribute to dramatic improvements in the quality of education and related policy supports in the United States.
