Beth Bacon

Beth Bacon is the Senior Director of Policy & Privacy at Public Interest Registry. Beth has over ten years of experience in telecommunications policy and has worked at various levels of government, including the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program, and the United States Senate. Beth is a skilled policy analyst and has a deep understanding of the issues facing the internet today. Beth is a strong advocate for privacy and security online, and works tirelessly to ensure that the public interest is represented in all policy decisions.

Beth Bacon has a MA in Public Communication from American University and a B.A. in Communications and Political Science from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Beth is certified by the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals as a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) and as a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E).
