Lori Pottinger

Lori Pottinger is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in water policy and environmental advocacy. Currently serving as Communications Manager at the Public Policy Institute of California's Water Policy Center since April 2015, Lori has dedicated over two decades to raising awareness about the impacts of large dams and promoting sustainable alternatives through roles at International Rivers. In addition, Lori has contributed as Assistant Editor for Community Alliance with Family Farmers and gained editorial experience at Mother Jones Magazine. Educational qualifications include a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from San Francisco State University, complemented by earlier studies at Humboldt State University.
