Margaret Weston

Margaret Weston is a seasoned professional in education and public policy with a robust academic background. Currently serving as a Research Fellow and previously as a Research Associate at the Public Policy Institute of California since July 2008, Margaret has also been a founding board member of Capitol Collegiate since 2010. Prior experience includes roles as a Policy Intern for both Chicago Public Schools and Governor Jennifer M. Granholm's office, and a Teach For America teacher for high school English in Baltimore City. Educational qualifications include a PhD in School Organization and Education Policy from the University of California, Davis, an MPP in Public Policy from the University of Michigan, and an MAT in Teaching from The Johns Hopkins University, along with an AB in English from the University of Michigan. Margaret's experience spans various roles in education and governmental policy, highlighting a commitment to research and effective teaching practices.
