Stephanie Yim is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in design operations, strategy, and user experience across various sectors, particularly in non-profit and socially-focused initiatives. Currently serving as Design Operations Director and Design Strategy Lead at Public Policy Lab since October 2019, Stephanie has also been an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at SVA Design for Social Innovation since September 2021. Prior experience includes founding and directing design for Good Call NYC, a 24/7 arrest support hotline, and a Design Fellowship at Blue Ridge Labs focused on legal aid access technology. With additional roles at MasterCard, Chrysler Group LLC, and multiple internships in product design and marketing, Stephanie has cultivated a strong foundation in UX research and design for digital products. Stephanie holds a B.S. in Human-Computer Interaction and Decision Science from Carnegie Mellon University and has pursued studies at Shanghai International Studies University and New York University.
