Iordanis Paraskevas

Iordanis Paraskevas has extensive experience in various IT roles, starting as a Design Engineer at Atmel Corporation in 2001. Iordanis then transitioned to software engineering at Siemens Enterprise Communications in 2005. In 2007, they joined IBM as an IT Specialist working on a core banking system and designing a Deposits Data Warehouse system. Iordanis moved to OPAP S.A. in 2012 as a Business Intelligence Engineer, eventually becoming the Head of Business Intelligence in 2015, leading teams and overseeing Enterprise Data Warehouse and advanced analytics projects. Recently, in 2021, they took on the role of Group director of Data Management & Analytics (CDO) at PPC S.A.

Iordanis Paraskevas began their education in 1995 at the National Technical University of Athens, where they studied Electrical & Computers Engineering. Iordanis then pursued a Masters in Business Administration at the University of Piraeus from 2001 to 2003. In 2015, they obtained a PMP certification in Project Management from PMI. Additionally, they have several other certifications, including PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, Agile Scrum Management, Azure Certification, Machine Learning, Leadership skills, Negotiation, SSL/TLS Fundamentals, and ITIL Foundation.
