Megan Gray

Executive Creative Director at Public Rec

Megan Gray has a long and varied career in the creative industry. Megan began their career in 2005 as an Arts Editor for Washington City Paper. In 2006, they moved to The Johns Hopkins University as a Graphic Designer, where they coordinated events and marketing materials, along with creative design, for the DC campus. In 2008, they became a Graphic Designer for Association Management Group, where they designed and built websites, branded meetings and conventions, and created print publication design and layout for 20+ in-house non-profit agency clients. In 2014, Gray became the Principal Designer for House of Grays. In 2017, they took on two roles, Creative Director for Fuel Made and Senior Designer for Aeolidia: Shopify Experts, where they crafted unique brand identities and web designs for ecommerce businesses on the Shopify platform. In 2019, they moved to Envoy as a Senior Art Director. Most recently, in 2020, Gray became the Executive Creative Director for Public Rec, where they are responsible for managing, developing, and leading an in-house team of designers, copywriters, editors, and photographers, as well as defining and shaping the overall brand identity across owned and paid channels.

Megan Gray received a Certificate in Design Leadership in Business from Parsons School of Design - The New School in 2020. Megan also obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA in English Language and Literature, General from the University of Iowa between 2001 and 2005.
