Kaylin R. Staten

Kaylin R. Staten, MA, APR, MPRCA, serves as an Adjunct Professor at Marshall University, teaching PR Planning and focusing on mentorship and research opportunities. Currently, Kaylin is the Editor in Chief at To The Journey: A Magazine of Narratives and Reveries and hosts The Wholeheartedly Podcast. As the Founder and Chief Storyteller of Hourglass Media, Kaylin emphasizes storytelling through various mediums. In addition to roles on the Membership Committee for the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and as a contributor to Taste! West Virginia Magazine, Kaylin owns Ilia Garnet Oddities, offering pop culture and vintage items. Freelance writing contributions extend to Ashland Independent Magazine and The Huntington Quarterly. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Applied Media Psychology from Fielding Graduate University and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Marshall University.
