Despite its reputation for imminent head scratching, Vicari revels in assembling flat‐pack furniture. Her ability to visualize spatial relationships and her love for problem solving allow her to thrive in the space between a pile of parts and a well‐built bookshelf. She sits down with the instructions to extract what she can, examines the enclosed tools and pieces, establishes an actionable plan of attack, then tosses the instructions aside and gets to work. Vicari believes good process works smarter, not harder, and knows the secrets to a successful execution are accessible steps, a good set of tools, and knowing when to improvise.
As content and systems manager at PSC, Vicari calls on her knack for process to help her colleagues get stuff done. Every day, Vicari unites talented writers, editors, and designers to produce high‐quality content for consultants and clients alike. In her role, she ensures the quality, efficacy, and timeliness of the firm’s marketing and content creation strategies. She also analyzes, designs, and implements process improvement changes and systems across the firm to create space for others to focus on what they do best.
Vicari brings to PSC years of leadership and award‐winning graphic design experience in the fields of journalism, technology, and marketing and communications. As a young leader, she managed design and editorial staff at Michigan State University’s Red Cedar Log. Since then, she’s collaborated with countless teams to develop effective processes, valuable staff resources, and thoughtful marketing collateral.
