Syeda Javaid

Syeda Javaid is an experienced academic and advocate with a focus on education and gender issues. Currently serving at Western University in various roles including Graduate Fellowship and Gender-Based and Sexual Violence Facilitator, Syeda is also a member of the Member Organizing Committee with the Public Service Alliance of Canada. With a diverse teaching background, Syeda has held positions such as Assistant Professor at Iqra University and Contract Faculty at Brescia University College. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Education from Western University, a Master’s in TESOL and Applied Linguistics from The University of Salford, and a Master’s in English Literature from Jinnah University for Women.
