Dan Thomsen

Dan Thomsen is an experienced professional with a strong background in strategic planning and project management, currently serving as the Manager of Strategic Planning at PSEG since August 2012. In this role, Dan leads the financial controls of a $100M annual portfolio of capital projects, overseeing project controls, developing tools and procedures, and managing training initiatives. Dan previously held positions as Principal Sr. Technology Project Consultant and Distribution Business Systems Project Leader, providing comprehensive analyses of project budgets and resource planning. Prior experience includes roles as a Sr. Portfolio Analyst and Project Support Specialist at PSEG, as well as a Resident Counselor at Access America Prep Programs and a Canvasser for the New Jersey Environmental Federation. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wesleyan University and an MBA in Finance from Rutgers Business School.
