Marshann Varley

Marshann Varley is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in insurance operations and risk management. As Senior Vice President at Public Storage since January 2022, Marshann oversees insurance operations for 1.5 million customers, driving significant year-over-year growth and establishing the company as a market leader in the self-storage industry. Prior to this role, Marshann served as Managing Director at Aon, where a successful business development strategy tripled sales in Southern California and Las Vegas. With a robust background at Marsh from 2000 to 2016, Marshann held various leadership roles including Chief Retention Officer and Producer Unit Leader, contributing to client service strategy and regional leadership. Earlier career experiences include risk management roles at General Motors and underwriting at Cigna, complemented by an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business and a B.S. in Economics from UC Santa Barbara.
