The Public Theater has had a board of directors made up of people with experience in special events management, prop supervision, casting, and marketing. Many of them have also worked for other well-known companies, such as the Roundabout Theater Company and MCC Theater. They have also been educated at notable schools, such as Muhlenberg College and Purchase College.
