Jennifer Welsh

Jennifer Welsh has a diverse and extensive work experience in the legal and compliance field. Jennifer currently holds the position of General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Public Trust Advisors, LLC since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as the General Counsel at Myriad Asset Management US LP from July 2021 to June 2022.

From January 2016 to June 2021, Jennifer worked as an Attorney Adviser at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Their earlier roles include being the Vice President, Deputy Chief Compliance Officer at ALPS, A DST Company from August to December 2015, as well as the Vice President, Senior Counsel from March 2013 to August 2015.

Jennifer also served as the Chief Compliance Officer and Associate General Counsel at Boulder Funds from June 2010 to November 2012, where they administered compliance programs for several investment companies and advisers.

Prior to that, Jennifer started their career as an Associate Attorney at Davis Graham & Stubbs LLP from January 2007 to May 2010, where they provided legal counsel to investment companies, hedge funds, and broker-dealers.

Jennifer began their professional journey as a Legal Intern in the Enforcement Division of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (formerly NASD) from May to November 2006, analyzing evidence and participating in litigation strategy development.

Jennifer Welsh earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from Tulane University in 1999, with a major in Psychology and a minor in Business. Jennifer then pursued higher education at the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree between 2004 and 2007.
