Barbara Rittenhouse

Vice President & Publisher, Special Markets at Publications International

Barbara Rittenhouse has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 1974, they worked at Meredith Corporation as a Book Rights Manager for Better Homes & Gardens Book Clubs and later transitioned to become a Product Marketing Manager for Better Homes and Gardens Books. In 1980, they joined HarperCollins Publishers as the Manager of Special Sales and eventually became the Director of Product Development. From 1989 to 1992, Barbara worked at Random House as the Director of Book Acquisitions and Marketing in the Mail Order Division. Barbara then moved on to Troll Associates in 1992 as the Managing Director, followed by a position at Newfield Publications in 1994 as the Vice President and Editorial Director. Finally, Barbara joined Publications International in 1995 as the Vice President and Publisher, Special Markets.

Barbara Rittenhouse completed their undergraduate education from 1970 to 1974 at Tufts University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
