Mike Pursley

Mike Pursley serves as the Director of Major & Planned Giving at Maryland Public Television since September 2019, focusing on aligning philanthropic goals with the organization's mission. Mike's experience includes roles as a Major Gift Officer at Publishers Weekly and various positions at Gilman School, including Director of Prospect Management and Research, where Mike was responsible for producing prospect profiles and redesigning departmental reports. Prior experience also includes Director of Prospect Research at Johns Hopkins University, where customized prospect profiles were created for fundraisers, and an Engineering Records Technician at Baltimore County Public Schools, managing planning documents. Mike Pursley holds a Master's degree from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree from Salisbury University.
