Ruben Romero

Ruben Romero is an accomplished Training Specialist at Pueblo Of Isleta since July 2022, where responsibilities include training and instruction as an NRA Small Arms Instructor. Prior to this role, Ruben served as a Personal Protection and Executive Protection Officer at the International Protective Service Agency from July 2017 to January 2023. Educational pursuits include a Business Degree at Central New Mexico Community College, attended from January 2014 to January 2023. Ruben's experience in military operations is extensive, having held positions such as Operations NCO in the US Army from November 2004 to January 2011, where significant contributions included optimizing combat effectiveness for Stryker Brigades. Additionally, as a Headquarters Platoon Sergeant and Anti-Tank Section Leader in Bravo Company, 4-31st Infantry, Ruben played a pivotal role in operations that earned a Bronze Star. Previous experience also includes working as Army Programs Manager for Tactical and Survival Specialties, INC. from April 2011 to February 2014. Education includes a tenure at the University of Kentucky and graduation from Jemez Valley High School.
