Sam Stansfield

Sam Stansfield is an experienced professional with a strong background in affiliate marketing and business development.

Starting in 2004, Sam worked at WellWorking as a Sales Manager, where they successfully optimized the company's website and achieved sales targets. Sam also secured contracts worth over £50k and implemented effective marketing campaigns.

From 2009 to 2010, Sam worked as a Business Development Manager at Global Data, generating significant sales each month for email and lead generation campaigns. Sam also managed and optimized these campaigns to maximize their effectiveness.

At AffiliateFuture from 2010 to 2011, Sam served as a Business Development Manager. Their primary responsibility was to attract new advertisers to the affiliate network, and they consistently generated contracts worth approximately £10,000 in setup and monthly fees.

From 2012 to 2014, Sam worked as an Account Manager at Tradedoubler, where they managed affiliate programs for various merchants and achieved substantial growth in e-commerce revenue. Sam also implemented cost-saving measures for these programs.

Joining ESI Media in 2014, Sam served in multiple roles. As Partnerships Executive, they contributed to the affiliate content strategy and managed technical integrations, SEO, and CMS optimization. Sam then became an Affiliate Manager, where they established a robust affiliate infrastructure and launched and managed the puzzle sections for The Independent and Evening Standard websites. Lastly, as a Senior Affiliate Manager, Sam developed and delivered an affiliate strategy for ESI Media, driving revenue and managing the affiliate team.

Sam joined Which? in 2019 as a Senior Affiliate Manager. In this role, they devised and led the affiliate strategy, resulting in increased revenue from hundreds of advertisers across various sectors. Sam also successfully launched an in-house pricing engine and owned the affiliate P&L.

From 2021 to 2022, Sam worked at ExpressVPN as the Partnerships Lead. As part of the senior leadership team, they managed the global affiliate program, optimizing existing affiliates, recruiting new ones, and improving the conversion rate on the ExpressVPN website. Sam introduced a successful A/B test that led to an 8% increase in conversion for site-wide traffic.

Currently, Sam is employed as a Senior Affiliate Manager at Puffy, a position they began in 2022.

Sam Stansfield attended South East Essex College from 1999 to 2001, where they completed their A Levels in Business Studies, IT, History, and General Studies. From 2001 to 2004, Sam studied at the University of Southampton, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Management with Spanish.
