D-D Smith has extensive experience in executive support roles, currently serving as the Executive Assistant to the President and CEO and Manager of Executive Support at Puget Sound Energy since January 2007. Previous positions include Executive Assistant to the Chairman and CEO at Omeros Corporation and to the Chairman and CEO at Cascade Investment/BGI/Bill Gates Investment. D-D Smith co-owned Bear Creek Business Center and held the position of Executive Assistant to the Chairman and CEO at McCaw Cellular/Eagle River LLC. Additional experience includes serving as an Executive Assistant to the U.S. Ambassador to New Zealand at the United States Department of State and as Executive Assistant to the Chairman and CEO at Howard S. Wright Construction Company. D-D Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in Office Administration from Washington State University and a High School Diploma from Mercer Island High School.
