Michael Merchant

Michael Merchant is a skilled Telecommunications Technician with extensive experience in the telecommunications and IT sectors. Currently employed at Puget Sound Energy since November 2018, Michael has previously held positions as a Senior Telecommunications Engineer at Aerotek and Puget Sound Energy, as well as a Sales Engineer at Nokia, where specialization included migrating public safety and power utility infrastructures from TDM to IP technology. Michael’s career also includes work as a Systems Analyst at Allied Technology Group LLC., contributing to the Polar Science Data Network for the U.S. Coast Guard, and initial IT training in the U.S. Coast Guard from 2002 to 2007. Education includes attendance at City University of Seattle following completion of IT A SCHOOL in 2004.
