Simon Upton

Simon Upton serves as PSE’s chief information officer. He joined PSE in March 2023, bringing deep expertise in leading IT and business operations in the highly regulated banking industry.

Simon is also a partner at Fortium Partners, a technology executive leadership firm. He joined Fortium after two years as a chief operating officer and chief information officer at Solomon Partners, a boutique investment bank. Prior to that, he worked for 22 years at Credit Suisse, where he served in a variety of executive leadership roles, including a chief operating officer, chief information officer, and chief administrative officer of the Investment Bank. As a financial services professional, he is FINRA Series 7 and 24 registered.

Simon graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computing and Informatics from the University of Plymouth in the United Kingdom. He is active in the local community and currently serves as a board member of Cents Ability, a New York City-based nonprofit dedicated to educating and empowering high school students to achieve their goals through the prudent and informed management of their financial resources.
