Program Manager – Equity Policy And Initiatives at Puget Sound Regional Council

Charles Patton, PhD, is an accomplished program manager specializing in equity policy and initiatives at Puget Sound Regional Council since June 2019. Previously, Charles served as Senior Policy and Research Manager at Partnership for Strong Communities, where responsibilities included leading data, research, and policy initiatives, as well as engaging stakeholders to shape new policy prescriptions. As a Senior Policy Analyst, Charles assessed opportunities for improvement in housing policy, creating publications and public speaking engagements to disseminate effective policy ideas. Prior experience includes working as a Research Associate at the Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity, where analytical skills were applied in policy assessments, and as a Teaching Associate at The Ohio State University, focusing on statistical software and sociological concepts. Charles holds a PhD and MA in Sociology from The Ohio State University, along with a BA in Communication from DePaul University.
