Shandra Back

Shandra Back is a skilled journalist currently serving as a Reporting Fellow at the Pulitzer Center since May 2025. Prior experience includes serving as the Podcast Director at the Boston University Center on Forced Displacement from December 2022 to May 2025, where Shandra managed multiple aspects of podcast production. Other roles at Boston University include Podcast Host and Audio Productions Director at WTBU, overseeing the launch and management of numerous podcasts, as well as a Radio Show Host who curated content and engaged with audiences. Shandra also coordinated the first season of "Migration Tales" as Podcast Coordinator and held positions with The Politica at Boston University as Secretary and Publication Director. Shandra is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Journalism at Boston University, expected to graduate in May 2025.
